2020 Summer Music Programs
Summer offers more daylight hours and a somewhat more relaxed schedule. This is the perfect time to try something new!
We offer private lessons in strings, woodwind, brass, percussion, voice, guitar and piano. And for those of you enrolled in lessons already, this is the perfect time to hone your skills or join a group.
Music lessons are not just for children! We are happy to teach adults and our adult madrigal group is always looking for new singers.

Instrument Sampler (Ages 5 - 9)
Not sure what instrument would be a good choice for your child? This one-week program will offer daily group lessons in strings, piano, recorder and guitar taught by Bennett faculty members. The lessons will be interspersed with singing, movement, musical games, arts and crafts and outdoor play. Instruments will be provided. |

Strings
For students with 1 year of private or group lessons. Come develop your musical skills with experienced teachers and have fun! Each day will include a group lesson, ensemble, singing, arts and crafts, games and outdoor play. |

Piano Ensemble
An opportunity for intermediate-advanced piano students to play with other pianists! Experience 4-hand and 2-piano ensembles, learn accompanying techniques, boost confidence and performing skills. The morning will include arts and crafts and musical games. |

Electronic Composition and Chamber Music
For students with at least 2 years of private lessons or 3 years of group lessons in strings, woodwinds or piano. Students will be placed in ensembles according to age and musical experience. Placement auditions may be required. Student creativity will be further enhanced with singing, movement, theory, composition, arts and crafts and outdoor games. |
